My Story
I'm Madeleine Marie, but everyone calls me Maddie.
After my son was born in 2019, my hormones fell off a cliff.
I felt exhausted, foggy, anxious, inflamed, and completely unlike myself.
And even though I’d worked in women’s health and strength for years… there was no help. No guidance. No roadmap for what was happening to my body.
That experience changed everything for me.
It made me realise what so many women already knew:
perimenopausal women are completely abandoned by the fitness industry.
No one was teaching coaches how to support women through hormonal shifts, joint pain, anxiety spikes, fatigue, hypermobility, weight changes, or feeling “not like yourself anymore.”
So I decided to build the solution myself.
I opened my first women’s strength space, a small studio with no mirrors, no judgement, no diet culture, and coaches who actually understood midlife bodies.
Women came in anxious, overwhelmed, or feeling “too old” or “too unfit”… and left feeling powerful.
From there, we have expanded into a women-only gyms, a strength studio, a large class space, a treatment room, hobby clubs, outings, therapy spaces, talking groups and a huge online community, along with a full team trained specifically to support peri & menopausal women, in person and online.
Strength training should be available to every woman, in every season of life.
Whether you train with us in the gym or from your living room, you’re guided, supported, and never alone.
What started as a single studio has become a full ecosystem of women-only strength, coaching, community and education.
Our mission is simple:
To give peri & menopausal women the support we should have had all along, and to help you feel strong, capable and at home in your body again.

Every coach is trained in strength for midlife bodies, joint-friendly progressions, nervous system safety, and confidence-building coaching.
